My name is Tanima Quintano, owner of Lucky Dog Pet Service, and I grew up in Kailua. I have always had a love for animals, dogs in particular. I also love being outdoors as much as possible with my pup Mele and enjoy hiking, running and being out on the ocean.
Lucky Dog Pet Service was inspired by and got its start because of my love for my dog Mele and how she changed my life just with her amazing personality. She really made me realize my passion for animals and how I wanted to help care for other people‘s pets knowing that they feel the same way about their pets as I do about Mele (she is pictured above infront of the mokulua islands). I had always said that I wanted to be a professional animal lover and I found a way to make that a reality!
I wake up enthusiastic everyday knowing that I get to spend my time with the animals that I love and that I’m giving their owners peace of mind knowing that their furry friends are in good hands.
Lucky Dog Pet Service is locally owned and operated on the Windward side of Oahu specializing in dog walking, pet care and pet transportation. We are compassionate, reliable animal lovers and are licensed bonded and insured under Pet Sitters Associates LLC.
Initial 30 minute meet and greet complimentary
Dog walking rates apply for one dog.
Additional $5 fee per additional dog walked.
Dog walking/pet visits:
15 minute quick visit $15
30 minute walk/visit $23
45 minute walk/visit $33
Additional $5 charge for visits before 7am, after 4pm and on weekends.
Additional $5 to $10 charge for visits to Kaneohe and Waimanalo depending on location.
Pet transportation:
We offer pet transportation to grooming and vet appointments in Kailua. $22 each way. Additional charge for appointments in Kaneohe.
Pet sitting:
Overnight pet sitting $90. This includes a 30 minute walk for dogs, picking up the yard, cleaning litter box, caring for other in home pets, watering indoor plants and bringing in mail. Additional $10 fee for for pets that need to be let out to relieve themselves mid day. Additional $20 charge for overnight pet sitting on major holidays listed below.
50% non refundable deposit required at time of booking for pet sitting. Balance due upon return.
Holiday pricing:
Additional $10 charge for pet visits or dog walks on Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day weekend, and Labor Day weekend when availabl
All employees of Lucky Dog Pet Service are licensed, bonded and insured under Pet Sitters Association LLC. We are always prepared for any pets' needs and ensure that your pet will receive the best care and love. Their happiness and care is our priority and we strive to provide a service we would want our own pets to receive.
